Um... what?

Yeah- Ally's thread. I was totally going: 'Gah! Raph DIED!' there.

Bumpity for this:

The Ancient One is Mission Control--he transmits orders from a high-tech matcha bamboo whisk.

Oh, dear Lord, I want a crack AU out of that. *DIES*

I've been lurking a lot lately..mostly to read the RP. Yes, Mandy has finally caught herself up with the RP. I'm loving it lots. Um so I hope you guys update soon *hint hint*

I also have to note that it is an addictive distraction to homework ^_^; so it's probably a good thing I got it out of my system.

(is reading current scene as it unfolds)

Because you know, only Tart!RP can so thoroughly and wonderfully basardize the Ancient One and then make me feel SORRY FOR HIM while I'm simultaneously whooping with joy that he's gone. >.<

But really, it's been awesome. :D

XD

Yeah, so I'm probably the only person who was highly amused at that line. But that's just because for me it's always amusing when Idaho just randomly pops up in things I read or watch. Because all Idahoans are as easily entertained about stuff like that.

...That is all.

...

wahaha! I just wanted to tell you guys, that even though I wish I could have taken part in last night's RP, it was ridiculously fun reading it and not knowing what was going to happen. XD Awesome job, gang--and thanks, Aub and Dee, for subbing for me. Beautifully done!

I think Raph would have a different take than Don on the retina scanner dilemma, though. You don't necessarily have to KILL someone to use their eye...Raph's good at extracting all sorts of body parts!

The power's out in Brazil -- apparently because hackers have been attacking the grid there.

Our RP is spilling out into the real world!

Okay, I just read the updates to 'Countdown to an Explosion', and I'm so very very in love with it that rather than waiting until later, I am typing this right now one-handed while the baby sleeps on my other arm. :) I just adore this latest dialogue. I'm glad you guys did the back and forth with the characters in this instance. I can see where things are leading, and this is SUCH an important bit. And so brilliantly done so far. The tension between Don & Raph is so vivid I can FEEL it. And the dialogue! So spot-on. And there;s Leo, dying to step in, but holding back because it's not his place--no one else but him would be so conscious of rank and respnsibility, esp. at a time like this, and it fits.

SPLINTER. OMG.

The byplay between Leo and Splinter here is so exactly the way I envision their relationship, it's like you're writing in my own personal verse! Splinter never TELLS Leo to let them be. He doesn't have to. And I wholly approve of Splinter's hands-off stance on this as well. I've always thought that as the guys got older, he'd be the type to let them work many things out on their own, even if there is some risk that they'll screw up.

In short--great work, and keep going! Makes me wish I was part of this, but if all I can do for now is cheer from the sidelines, that's what I'll do. You guys rock!

Just got caught up on things, thanks to a certain baby's unusually long nap, and I just wanted to say real quick that I love the Bugging Out scene, how it plays out, and how the immediate and un-debated consensus is that they must leave. It's heartbreaking, and yet true, and Leo says it best--as long as they're all alive and together, they'll make it. Probably better that Mike's pretty much unconscious when the leave! Good work, gals. This scene is emotional and exciting, and I totally have a knot it my stomach, waiting to see how this plays out.
